DESCRIPTION :

The Process Engineer is responsible for leading the optimization and implementation of projects designed to increase productivity and effectiveness. The successful candidate will be able to enhance business processes to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and maximize profitability. Developing best practices and fostering sustainable cultural change. This position will be exposed to all areas of our business and manufacturing operations.

Requirements : RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead process improvement projects applying Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts.
• Interact with supervisors and workers to explore initiatives, ideas, and order progress.
• Develop innovative solutions.
• Design and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, increase throughput, and minimize product loss.
• Partner with operations team to plan conveyor layouts that support crop movement and minimize manual handling.
• Develop process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. Ensure projects are completed on time. Ensure financial budgets are followed.
• Perform risk assessments.
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track and manage key performance indicators (KPI). Additional Responsibilities
• Availability for flexible schedule changes based on business needs (including but not limited to seasonal demand and additional hours outside of the regular work schedule).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information or help as required.
• Perform additional duties as required.
