Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection. The goal is to ensure that products are free of flaws and function as designed. The role involves designing and installing sophisticated testing equipment and performing product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. You will analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaboration with supplier representatives on quality problems is essential, ensuring that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributing to supplier quality improvement programs. This position requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement methods for process control and improvement.
Design and install sophisticated testing equipment.
Perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels.
Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends.
Recommend corrective actions to address quality issues.
Collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems.
Ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
Contribute to supplier quality improvement programs.
Essential Skills
Understanding and application of procedures and concepts in quality engineering.
Experience with test procedures, product quality, and process control.
Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.
Knowledge of test and inspection methods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
University degree or extensive practical knowledge.
Experience in regulated environments such as FDA, FAA, or automotive.
2+ years of experience in engineering.
Root cause analysis skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.50 / hr.
