Job Summary :

The Director, Technology Strategic Sourcing, is a transformative enterprise leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership, including EVPs, SVPs, and C-suite executives. This role shapes the companys global technology sourcing strategy and partnerships across the technology landscape. As a global people manager, the Director leads a medium-sized, geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance. The Director also plays a major leadership role in the ongoing transformation of Global Sourcing and Procurement at PayPal, driving modernization, strategic alignment, and enterprise value.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Execute the organizations sourcing strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers value.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, cost savings, and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define material, quality, and service requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
• Develop and use scorecards to measure and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing operations.
• Explore and evaluate new sources, methods, and vendors to ensure a reliable supply of materials.
