About the Role
The Company is in search of a Partner for its Labor and Employment practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding the firm's employment practice, providing strategic legal counsel to a diverse client base, and handling a wide range of employment-related matters. This includes but is not limited to, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, wage and hour issues, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, and labor union matters. The role also involves collaborating with other practice areas to deliver integrated solutions, contributing to thought leadership, and mentoring junior attorneys.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of focused Labor and Employment law experience, with a strong background in litigation, counseling, and negotiation. A portable book of business and a proven track record of client relationship management are essential. The candidate should be a thoughtful communicator, with a practical, problem-solving mindset, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative approach to cross-practice engagement. A commitment to mentorship, community involvement, and fostering a culture of inclusion is also a key requirement.
