Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides safe and effective patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN delivers direct patient care within the scope of practice, communicates with physicians regarding clinical changes, and responds promptly to emergent conditions. The RN also provides patient and family education and directs the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining established standards of care and ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the ICU in accordance with established clinical and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition, including hemodynamic parameters and diagnostic results.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage advanced equipment safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and patient privacy regulations.

Shift Details

Per Diem; variable Day (0700-1930) and Night (1900-0730) shifts available. Schedule based on departmental needs.
