You will conduct regular foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help promote peace of mind, and deliver outstanding customer service with every interaction. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time : Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Thur 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and observations as required. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols within the transportation location. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, the public, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or security-related concerns. Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
