ABOUT THE POSITION

Structural Bridge Engineer | Wethersfield, CT | Hybrid

VHB's CT Structural Team has an opening for a Structural Bridge Engineer to join our established and growing team. You will be working on a wide variety of bridge projects in CT and New England using cutting-edge tools to design and create digital models of bridges.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural modeling and design of highway, pedestrian and railroad bridges and other structures
• Create plans and digital models of the bridges and highway bridge approaches
• Perform bridge inspections
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Prepare contract documents
• Review fabrication drawings and provide construction plan reviews
