Senior Accountant

Job Description

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, with a proven track record of managing complex financial tasks. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• General Ledger Management : Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Review and post journal entries.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.Monitor budgetary performance and analyze variances.Provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
• Compliance and Audit : Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable financial regulations.Coordinate and support internal and external audits.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Tax Preparation : Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related documentation.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Collaborate with external tax advisors as necessary.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management.Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance.
• Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.Provide training and development opportunities for accounting team members.
