Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Part time Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you are responsible for preparing and cooking food to order, ensuring high quality and consistency in all dishes.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare ingredients for cooking by chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables, meats, and other items as needed
• Cook and assemble food according to menu specifications, ensuring dishes are prepared to order and served at the correct temperature.
• Operate cooking equipment, including grills, ovens, fryers, stoves, and other kitchen tools.
• Ensure that all food items meet the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Work quickly and efficiently under pressure during busy service periods to meet customer demand.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff, including other line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and servers, to ensure smooth operations.
• Help with inventory control, including receiving and stocking ingredients, and ensuring that supplies are properly stored.
