Summary :

Oversees the Quality Program, including regulatory compliant operations and the effectiveness of the quality assessment and performance improvement for all hospitals in their region. Works closely with other regional Quality Directors to ensure organization-wide sharing, deployment and alignment of best practice processes to drive, achieve and sustain clinical excellence goals across the health system. Collaborates with physicians and all levels of leadership to develop and sustain a robust clinical documentation improvement program and medical record integrity across regional areas of responsibility. Provides leadership and guidance to managers, assisting with identification of any patterns or trends, or significant opportunities for improvement. Oversight of continued regulatory readiness activities and collaborates with system VP Clinical Excellence to coordinate and align medical staff peer review activities. Manages the regional operational, budgetary and financial responsibilities and activities. Evaluates performance and professional development of direct reports, and holds self and team accountable for the development and achievement of measurable performance goals.

Required experience includes 5 years of clinical experience in acute care setting AND 2 years quality or performance improvement related activity AND 4 years in management.
