Position Overview : Location : Near Palmer, AK Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System : Epic Practice Details : Practice Setting : The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling experience. Shifts and Coverage : Clinic Coverage : Two weeks per month of clinic coverage. Call Coverage : Onsite : 4 weeks per month of hospital call coverage with night call during the week and 24-hour weekend call. Virtual : For the other two weeks, 24-hour virtual call coverage. Patient Load : Average of 12 patients per shift. Holidays : Coverage required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Requirements : Board Certification : Must be board-certified in Pediatric Neurology. Certifications : BLS and PALS certifications required. Privileges : Hospital and surgery center privileges required; however, temporary privileges are not available. Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated at 90-145 days.
