About the Role

The Equipment Operator role is critical to the efficient and safe operation of heavy machinery within our Baltimore, MD facility. The primary objective of this position is to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of equipment to support production and construction activities. The operator will ensure that all machinery is in compliance with safety regulations and company standards, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This role requires close collaboration with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and maintain a smooth workflow. Ultimately, the Equipment Operator contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring that equipment is handled expertly and projects are completed on schedule.

Job Summary

Performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy / agricultural equipment that may include, but is not limited to; front-end loaders, skid steers, track-hoes, and bulldozers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid equipment operator certification or license relevant to the machinery being operated.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret operational manuals, safety guidelines, and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and practices.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Always operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned / approved destination.
• Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
• Maintain operation records.
