Required Certs : LCSW or LMFT or LPC(1 of the 3 is required) Inpatient and outpatient treatment settings Group therapy focused on treating substance use disorders Psychoeducation 12 Step Recovery philosophy Relapse Prevention Therapy Process groups Treatment planning Alternative recovery-based community resources ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) dimensions & levels of care Identifying symptoms of intoxication & withdrawal Discharge planning Inpatient and outpatient treatment settings Group therapy focused on treating substance use disorders Psychoeducation 12 Step Recovery philosophy Relapse Prevention Therapy Process groups Treatment planning Alternative recovery-based community resources ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) dimensions & levels of care Identifying symptoms of intoxication & withdrawal Discharge planning Provides psychosocial assessment, individual / family therapy, discharge and aftercare planning to patients and their families in an outpatient setting. Delivers services and treatments based on recovery-oriented services, family systems, and evidenced based treatments. Provides consultation and training on psychosocial aspects of human behavior and complex environments. Serves as the primary contact for involving and educating patients, families, and significant others in the process of treatment and mental health recovery. Acts as a liaison to community programs and develop strategic partnerships to enhance aftercare plans of patients and their families. This job is performed in both inpatient and outpatient as well as in an individual or a group setting.
