Job Summary and Qualifications

The Speech Therapist provides high quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive and / or swallowing impairments. As an active member of the health care team, the Speech Therapist performs comprehensive patient assessments and establishes appropriate treatment goals. Services are provided to patients on the acute, medical, and skilled nursing units, which include inpatient and outpatient therapy departments. The Speech Therapist serves as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues.
