Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to designated areas within the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control, assisting with the implementation of security-related protocols as required by the location. Provide customer service by greeting visitors and responding to inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues to appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify security-related concerns. Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols and access control duties. Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
