Job Description
- Support the pharmacist in accordance with state and federal regulations, assisting with pharmacy operations in line with company policies and procedures.
- Operate pharmacy systems to acquire patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while also guiding and coaching pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, addressing their inquiries, and offering assistance with products and services.

Assist in the pharmacy practices under the pharmacist's supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.Perform various tasks assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, including data entry, prescription filling, and checking for drug interactions.Address and report prescription errors to the pharmacist promptly, following all company protocols regarding quality improvement.Responsible for cash register operations, including sales registration and cash handling while assisting customers in locating over-the-counter products.Handle non-critical telephone calls and manage clerical duties such as correcting manual claims efficiently.Oversee pharmacy inventory management tasks, including ordering and storing pharmaceuticals, while maintaining awareness of asset protection procedures.Support the analysis and improvement of pharmacy metrics, collaborating with management on financial and inventory performance.Assist with clinical services such as collecting patient samples and connecting with healthcare providers to enhance pharmacy services.Ensure a clean, stocked, and organized pharmacy environment, contributing to overall operational efficiency.Encourage pharmacy staff in effective process utilization to enhance productivity.Adhere to all company policies and uphold respectful relationships with co-workers.Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.Training & Personal Development
Maintain PTCB certification and any required state certifications through continuous education and training.Participate in training sessions and acquire relevant knowledge to stay updated on the latest trends in pharmacy and healthcare.External Basic Qualifications
Must possess PTCB certification (not required in Puerto Rico).At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory (except in Puerto Rico).Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.Preferred Qualifications
