Secondary English Teacher

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a private rural residential special education facility for teen girls and boys has an immediate opening for a Secondary English Teacher fully certificated or who possess the credentials to obtain a provisional license to teach grades 9-12 English literature, grammar, and composition. Qualified candidates must possess the ability to work effectively with ED, LD, and students in a regular tract.

• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional design.
• Support students' literacy education and promote a love for reading and writing.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to enhance educational outcomes.
