Position Summary

Set up and operate manually operated cylindrical and surfacing grinding equipment in the production of very tight toleranced, proprietary parts in support of Adcole's gaging systems. The position works on tight schedules with a strong requirement for efficient equipment and time management.

Job Duties

• Acquire job skills and learn all applicable company policies and procedures.
• Adhere strictly to the company's health, safety, and PPE policies.
• Complete assigned tasks while following manufacturing schedules, policies, and procedures.
• Receive instruction on daily work assignments and deadlines.
• Assume responsibility for meeting schedules and ensuring quality of work.
• Act as a champion of the company's Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.
• Maintain time and attendance in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work area schedule.
• Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of finished products to support production and customer service levels.
• Escalate situations and conditions that are critical to quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
