Commercial Counsel

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to provide part-time legal support on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, focusing on supply chain and vendor contracts

Provide clear, actionable legal advice to the commercial team and collaborate with the North American legal team

Develop and refine playbooks and templates for recurring contract types while ensuring compliance with internal policies and laws

Qualifications

JD and active U.S. bar membership in good standing

Minimum 6+ years of experience in commercial contracting, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain agreements

Proven ability to independently review and interpret entire contract documents

Prior experience advising on vendor contracts involving IT or AI tools

Comfort working remotely and asynchronously, with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast
