National Director, Walk to Defeat ALS - West

Established in 1985, The ALS Association is the only national nonprofit organization fighting ALS on every front.

By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through certified clinical care centers, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.

• This is a remote position based in any major metropolitan market in the Western / Central US
• POSITION SUMMARY :
• Reporting to the Senior Director, the National Director, Walk to Defeat ALS - West co-leads the strategic vision, development, and execution of the Association’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising campaign.
• In partnership with the National Director, Walk to Defeat ALS - East, this role drives innovation, integration, and national alignment to elevate fundraising performance and program impact across the organization.
• The Director will also play a critical role in supporting field teams through organizational change, particularly in unstaffed markets, by guiding development operations and ensuring effective local implementation of national strategies to sustain the long-term success of the Walk program.
