Position Overview

Our C&S Construction Practices continues to advance in the multi-family housing market. We are focused on quality and exceptional service for our clients. We are seeking an experience project leader that has proven experience in vertical multi-story construction industry. The ideal candidate will serve as primary client contact – from design input through project close-out. This position calls for strong abilities to grow, manage, lead, and collaborate with a team of technical professionals within our San Diego office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Positive attitude and responsive customer service skills.
• Create and execute project work plans and ensure complete task accountability.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project implementation, including individual tasking.
• Manage estimating and pricing aspects of projects, create realistic and comprehensive estimates, and change pricing as needed.
• Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
• Effectively apply the C&S Companies methodology and enforces project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Conduct complete buy out of project and ensure adequate bid leveling.
• Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
• Properly administer construction contracts and obtains all necessary permits and licenses.
• Supervise assistant managers, review their reports, check on any reported difficulties, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule and project profitability forecast, monitoring the progress of construction activities on a regular basis and holding regular status meetings.
• Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines with use of Procore and / or Autodesk project management software.

Qualifications

Estimated Compensation Range : $120,000 – 140,000 / year
