WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As an Associate on the Mortgage Application Intake Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage applications. You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying applications forpleteness andpliance with the necessary documentation before the underwriting process. This role demands attention to detail, a strong understanding of mortgage application procedures, and excellentmunication skills to liaise with loan officers and other internal stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Review mortgage applications and supporting documentation to ensurepleteness and accuracy.
• Identify any missing, iplete, or incorrect information and follow up with loan officers or internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Validate the application against regulatory andpany-specific guidelines, ensuring all required forms and documents are included.
• Maintain clear and organized records of reviewed applications andmunications with loan officers.
• Ensure applications are processed in a timely manner, meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in troubleshooting application-related issues and escalateplex problems to the manager.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations andpany policies regarding mortgage applications.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline the application intake process.
