Job description

PPS is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a temporary role at our semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler, AZ. The estimated length of the assignment will be 5-6 weeks, ending in July 2025. It may continue beyond 7 / 2025 depending on progress and need.

Responsibilities :

  • Using blueprints / schematics, assemble mechanical sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools for semiconductor manufacturing tools
  • Performing quality inspection and testing of product to ensure functionality
  • Troubleshoot any issues with equipment
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools to maintain working condition
  • Follow all safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess :

  • Mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read blueprints / schematics / written instructions
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of quality inspection
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of position
