Production Planning Intern

PacSci EMC an operating company of Ralliant is seeking a Production Planning Intern to join our Operations team. This internship is designed for students graduating in 20262027 who want hands-on experience in supply and demand planning, work order management, and manufacturing capacity analysis within the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with supply and demand planning deliverables to support manufacturing cells.
• Help generate and validate work orders using MRP processes, ensuring timely release to manufacturing.
• Support monitoring and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule, including identifying root causes for delays.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering teams to track build plans, backorder status, and potential schedule interruptions.
• Contribute to daily stand-up meetings by providing exception-based reporting on supply variances.
• Assist in analyzing demand forecasts and supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Help with inventory reallocation projects to support cost reduction strategies.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and support cross-functional teams with progress tracking.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for metrics, variance tracking, and risk assessment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
