Location : Swedish First Hill, Seattle, WA

Position : Full-Time (1 FTE) - Variable Shift

As a Professional Development Specialist RN , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare at Swedish First Hill. Collaborate closely with our service group director and Clinical Nurse Specialist to foster excellence in care through innovative educational strategies.

Your Impact :

In this dynamic role, you will :

• Assess learning needs and help staff create personalized professional growth plans.
• Design and implement educational activities tailored to individual and group needs, grounded in research and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize effective tools to measure learning outcomes and provide necessary support.
• Consult on educational delivery methods, curriculum development, and evaluation strategies.
• Identify learning deficits and create opportunities for growth.
• Guide staff in pursuing formal educational opportunities, such as further schooling and conferences.
• Prepare and review educational materials to ensure quality and relevance.
• Coach staff on utilizing digital resources for knowledge acquisition.
• Collaborate with Patient / Family and Community Education to address learning needs.
• Coordinate with Employee Learning and Advancement departments to support organizational goals.
• Maintain your own expertise in teaching, learning, and clinical competency.
• Make learning engaging and enjoyable!
