The ideal candidate is a problem solver who enjoys building innovative solutions, optimizing existing systems, and delivering reliable applications that support mission-critical operations.

Experience supporting PCI Energy Solutions applications, vendor software platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems is strongly desired.

  • Build and maintain APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and data exchanges between enterprise systems.
  • Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical solution planning.

Vendor Application Administration & Support

  • Configure, administer, and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications in both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Translate business requirements into application configurations, workflows, business rules, and automation processes.
  • Partner with software vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize application functionality, performance, and business value.
  • Manage vendor software upgrades, patches, releases, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor application performance and continuously identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, enterprise architecture, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 business operations, including incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with business partners, operational teams, project stakeholders, and vendors to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Participate in Agile and project-based development initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end users and team members.

Education

A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with PCI Energy Solutions products and applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and application support practices.
  • Experience supporting energy trading, generation management, grid operations, or related utility applications.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based and on-premises application environments.
  • Supporting or administering vendor-supplied enterprise applications.
  • Experience serving in a hybrid role that includes application development, vendor application administration, and production support.
  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and scripting/programming technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
