We're seeking a Technical Product Manager for UNITI's renewable energy solutions (Wind and Solar) and our ML Pipeline - a composable processing engine that enables utilities to bring their own algorithms and ML models directly into operational workflows, automatically transforming raw inspection data into actionable intelligence.You'll also spearhead our geospatial integration initiatives, building the bridges between UNITI and leading GIS platforms for spatial intelligence workflows that revolutionize how utilities visualize and analyze their infrastructure networks. This is the perfect opportunity for a software engineer ready to transition into product management while shaping the future of renewable energy asset management and spatial intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define comprehensive feature specifications focused on Solar and Wind Turbine inspection solutions.
  • Transform existing internal ML Pipeline capabilities into customer-facing product roadmap.
  • Drive geospatial integration strategy with ESRI and other GIS platforms.
  • Create detailed product requirements following our UX-driven development approach.
  • Define acceptance criteria aligned with test-driven development practices.
  • Own product backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature prioritization.
  • Own and execute end-to-end product QA process (distinct from engineering QA).
  • Work closely with UX, engineering, and customer success teams.
  • Gather customer & stakeholder feedback and translate into product improvements.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years software engineering experience (backend preferred).
  • B2B SaaS product experience - must understand enterprise software dynamics.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Previous experience in developer tools or technical platforms.
  • Technical proficiency : .NET / C#, APIs, SQL databases, or similar stack.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to translate user needs.
  • Start-up experience and comfort with ambiguity and working in fast-paced environments.

    • Preference will be given to candidates who also have :

  • Geospatial / GIS background or utilities industry knowledge.
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, spatial data workflows, or geospatial integration platforms.
  • Low-code / no-code platform experience as a user (Zapier, Power Platform, etc.).
  • ML / AI product development experience.
  • Integration platform or connector framework knowledge.
  • QA / testing background or quality engineering experience.
  • Experience working with imagery from drones, satellites, or other robots.
