Descripción del trabajoProvide direct nursing services to residents within assigned neighborhoods or programs. Deliver hands-on training for new hires and retrain team members as necessary. Manage and execute physician orders, ensuring accurate transcription in the electronic record system and treatment plans, administer medications, and implement treatments in accordance with orders. Supervise and lead clinical and non-clinical staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care. Accurately document residents' conditions and nursing needs promptly, while communicating important observations and reactions. Administer treatments as required and document status while monitoring reactions to medications and treatments. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to provide exceptional customer service. Conduct resident assessments and verify orders in consultation with physicians, notifying pharmacy and laboratory when needed. Provide comprehensive reports to oncoming shifts to ensure continuity of care for residents. Valid certifications and Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations. Preferred : One year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility.
