CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is $20 / hr to $26.50 / hr. CED's benefits offering includes eligibility to participate in 1 of 3 different BCBS of IL medical plans, Dental (SunLife) Vision (EyeMed), Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) with a generous 6% match on a 6% contribution, 11 Paid Holidays, 5 paid Sick Days (based on a full year of employment), and paid vacation

Mechanical Assembler

As a Mechanical Assembler , you will be responsible for assembling small electro-explosive units with a number of detailed parts, following standardized methods. Follow detailed procedures for NASA, SpaceX, and other aerospace industry leaders. Assemble hardware from scratch using parts list, custom tooling, and pneumatic press crimping, making intricate fittings.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally and / or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting much of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
