HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist & Programmer in the Manufacturing industry in Lee’s Summit, MO!
Salary : $26.00 - $36.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift : 2nd Shift (3 : 00pm–11 : 30pm), Monday–Friday with overtime as needed
Location : Lee’s Summit, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis) to perform precision machining operations.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials onto machines.
- Monitor machine feeds and speeds during machining to ensure accuracy.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to verify conformance to specifications.
- Document work performed through required paperwork and records.
- Perform minor mechanical and assembly tasks as needed.
- Share expertise and provide guidance to peers within the machine shop.
- Maintain safety standards and protect machines from potential damage.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
