As a Computer Technician, you’ll apply your technical knowledge to assemble, install, operate, maintain, and repair computers and related equipment. You’ll provide computer repair services and technical assistance to customers in our retail stores – helping to support our mission of sustainability and opportunity.

Your Typical Day :

  • Format donated hardware (HDD, SSD)
  • Install Windows 10 in accordance with SOPs
  • Remove valuable computer components for resale
  • Maintain updated documentation on PCs and licenses
  • Inventory and assess computers and electronics as they arrive
  • Oversee our Dell reconnect program and ensure proper recycling
  • Support logistics by preparing equipment for store delivery
  • Keep your workspace organized, secure, and clean
  • Work closely with Goodwill IT and donated goods teams

    • What You’ll Need :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience as a computer technician (or equivalent education)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) preferred
  • Willingness to train on forklift / pallet jack operation
