Responsibilities :

• Develop computer systems specifications that meet business requirements and align with the companys system architecture standards.
• Establish and document system parameters and formats, ensure hardware and software compatibility, and coordinate or modify system parameters based on current and projected capacity and capabilities.
• Revise existing systems and procedures to address deficiencies, enhancing data handling, conversion, input / output, and storage processes.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, with internal and external customers, both in writing and orally.
• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network, software, and system engineers, desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and IT management.
• Support multiple networks and complete administrative tasks promptly.
• Analyze customer requirements to determine equipment and software needs, providing automated solutions.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability, including installation, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
• Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and oversee virus protection routines.
• Create and modify user and computer accounts, adjusting file permissions and security access as needed.
• Test new product releases for compatibility and minimal user impact.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
• Make hardware, software, and system component purchase recommendations.
• Engage with vendors to discuss, evaluate, and troubleshoot products and services.
• Adhere strictly to Information Systems security guidelines.
• Maintain security logs and audit information on classified and standalone computers as directed by the ISSM.
• Prepare security documentation for Computer Security inputs.
• Report project statuses for all efforts as required.
• Work independently, developing solutions with minimal supervision.
