Job Description

Job Description

ReconCraft is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our Senior Data Analyst in building and scaling multiple data programs across the company. This role will play a key part in turning raw operational data into reliable, usable systems that leadership and teams can trust to make decisions. The primary initial objective of this role is to help design, build, and launch our company-wide tracking program over the coming months. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, solving real-world problems, and improving how teams work through better data.

This is a 3-6 month temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on performance, business needs, and company discretion. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work directly under the Senior Data Analyst to design, build, test, and deploy internal data tools and tracking systems
  • Take ownership of components of the company's tracker program, from data structure and validation to reporting and usability
  • Collect, clean, validate, and maintain data from multiple departments to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Build dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support operational and leadership decision-making
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in existing data processes and propose practical improvements
  • Document data workflows, definitions, and system logic to support long-term scalability
  • Collaborate with operations, production, engineering, and leadership teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support additional analytics and automation projects as new programs are developed across the company

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience working with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data cleaning, and validation best practices
  • Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable steps
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where systems are actively being built and improved
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience building tracking systems, KPIs, dashboards, or operational reporting tools
  • Experience working in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or production environments
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of automation, APIs, or data pipelines
  • What Success Looks Like :

  • The company's tracker program is fully operational, accurate, and trusted by leadership and department leads
  • Data is structured, documented, and scalable rather than ad-hoc
  • Teams spend less time chasing numbers and more time acting on them
  • The Senior Data Analyst can rely on this role as a true partner in building and maintaining systems
  • Why This Role Matters :

This position directly impacts how the company measures performance, identifies problems early, and scales responsibly. The right candidate will help lay the foundation for long-term data maturity across the organization. For the right person, this is an opportunity to prove capability quickly, take real ownership of high-impact systems, and grow into a long-term role.

    Position Pay Range

    $20—$25 USD
