Rincon Research Corporation (RRC), an employee-owned company, is seeking an Advanced Database Engineer to work with a multidisciplinary team to create robust solutions to challenging signal processing, geolocation, and communication problems. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

What are the primary responsibilities in the Advanced Database Engineer position?
Core responsibilities include designing database architecture solutions, developing and implementing databases, analyzing and maintaining operational databases, and adding new features to operational systems. This will include testing with real data and providing support to front-line customer facilities. A key responsibility is staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects. You’re encouraged and expected to propose things that you believe will improve the applications and frameworks you’re working in. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.

Where is the position located?
This position can be located at our Chantilly, VA; Centennial, CO or Tucson, Arizona Headquarters.
*The likely salary range for this position is $167,000 to $205,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
