You will oversee Capital Improvement Projects, manage Right of Way acquisitions, and facilitate the Subdivision Process and inspections, ensuring compliance and quality across various Engineering Services. Your responsibilities will include monitoring staff performance, providing technical direction, and delivering training in line with the City Engineer’s guidelines. Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting, land surveying, mapping, and Geographic Information Systems is essential. Strong management and administration skills are required to effectively oversee engineering design and construction projects, while modern office practices will aid in planning and directing the work of engineers, contractors, technicians, and clerical staff. Candidates must be registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, with a Registered Professional Land Surveyor designation preferred.
