Analytical Chemist – Temp-to-Hire
Location : Coral Springs, FL
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $33-$40 / hour depending on experience
Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a leading pharmaceutical company in Coral Springs, FL . This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products through robust analytical testing and method support. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in chromatography and spectroscopy, as well as a solid understanding of cGMP practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform assay and content uniformity testing on solid oral dosage forms
Conduct dissolution testing following USP, EP, and ICH guidelines
Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, UV-Vis, and other analytical methods
Support method development and validation activities
Evaluate stability samples to support shelf-life studies
Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods as needed
Maintain full compliance with cGMP, GLP, and internal quality standards
Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, validation reports, and technical documentation
Participate in investigations including OOS results and CAPA processes
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
Minimum 3 years of analytical experience in a pharmaceutical environment
Proficient in assay, dissolution, HPLC, and chromatography techniques (GC, TLC)
Familiarity with regulatory standards (USP, EP, ICH, FDA)
Experience with analytical software (Empower, Chromeleon, ChemStation)
Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, results-driven environment
