Descripción del trabajoInpatient rehabilitation unit in an acute care setting Average daily census of 12-16 patients with a 1 : 1 staffing ratio Patient diagnoses include multi-trauma, CVA / stroke, neurological conditions, and post-operative orthopedic surgery Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM No modality or prosthetic skills required; basic orthotic and splinting skills are a plus but not required Unit accepts first-time travelers with the required experience You may be assigned to an Emergency Team with expectations to stay during hurricane events as needed Five-day orientation program before starting assignment Two manager or supervisor references required for clearance to start If previously employed at this health system, must be separated for at least one year RTO (requested time off) must be discussed in interview to be honored Current BLS certification required Active LA state license or compact license required NBCOT certification required Minimum of 1 year of relevant inpatient rehab experience License required if applicable Must live more than 65 miles from the facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
