Job Summary
The job will involve working on a team of Java Developers building Scalable, highly-available applications for Union Bank. Working in an agile manner, you will drive the implementation of customer features using Java EE, MQ, Oracle technologies and similar technologies.
Job Details : Job Qualifications
Required
An intelligent, self-starter, problem-solving person who loves solving problems and working with others to solve difficult (if not impossible) problems.
Very good hands-on knowledge of JEE environment (at least JEE5. JEE6 is preferred) with at least 6+ years experience.
Practical knowledge of best coding / design practices and patterns, optimizations, scaling and clustering
Hands-on experience with clustering in JEE environments, HA, replication and scale-out of backend JEE components
Hands-on experience with at least one major JEE application server is required (JBoss is an advantage). Basic configuration and administration, deployment and optimization.
Experience with REST and / or SOA
Knowledge of JMX, JPA, JTA, SQL, JEE security
Knowledge of web GUI technologies would be considered an advantage (javascript, html5, etc)
Linux / Unix knowledge
B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field
Ability to be on call 24 hours when the job requires it.
