Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, master's degree preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate or other appropriate educator certification preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in education, youth development, afterschool programming, or program coordination; campus leadership experience preferred. Experience managing grant-funded programs, federal programs or expanded learning opportunities preferred. Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or contracted service providers preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of Texas ACE and Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program requirements. Understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), student academic interventions, and expanded learning programming. Ability to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate high-quality out-of-school-time-programming aligned with campus improvement goals. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, school personnel, and community partners. Knowledge of data collection, data analysis, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement. Ability to monitor grant performance measures and ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and grant requirements. Experience coordinating family engagement, youth development, enrichment activities, and academic support services. Ability to recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate program staff and service providers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and student information/data management systems. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
