Role: Java Full Stack Developer

Work location: Addison, TX (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Perform peer reviews and ensure that enhancements meet the required performance standards
  • Exposure to Azure Spring Apps, Azure Service Bus, Enterprise Integration patterns Expertise in integrating DB patterns with Spring JPA knowledgeable in software development design patterns Nice to have
  • Solid experience on unit test frameworks using JUnit, Mockito or PowerMock
  • Experience in Insurance domain is a plus
  • Good to have GIT, Swagger, any middleware tech such as Active MQ or Azure Service Bus
  • Good API skills technology such as Rest Webservice
  • Own l2/L3 support for Java Applications, troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents within SLAs
  • Perform root cause analysis, create permanent fixes with dev/infra teams and maintain runbooks/knowledge base.
  • Monitor Application health, coordinate incident calls and communicate status to business stakeholders
  • Guide and mentor the support tea and with offshore/remote teams as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Java Full Stack Development & enterprise solution design.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Spring Apps.
  • 5+ years of experience with life insurance industry.
