Position type: Contract/ Contract to Hire
Duration: 3 contract to full-time
Location: Houston, Texas


As a(n) Java Engineer within FIX you will:

• Day to Day Responsibilities

Outline key tasks and expectations for the role.
Expert in Core Java and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs

Java Engineer within FIX

• The focus is 100% Java based – Java/Spring/Microservices/API + AWS – HEAVY focus on Microservices
• Application is very high volume, used by equities team
• Should have good CICD skills
• Very sr role, will need to mentor some jr members of the team once converted to FTE
• FIX experience will get an automatic interview, but MUST have financial services experience at minimum
• 10+ Years experience minimum
• Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70 - $75 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
