RMA Northern California, part of the RMA Network of top fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Sonographer to join our growing Palo Alto practice. This is a full-time position Hours Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Purpose : The Sonographer is responsible for performing sonography appropriately and accurately to assist physician visualization and interpretation during gynecological procedures.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities :

• Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
• Establishes personal rapport with patients.
• Provides explanations of procedures.
• Performs detailed examinations of female reproductive systems
• Tracks fetal growth and development
• Identifies abnormalities
• Schedules and coordinates ultrasound examinations
• Prepares and maintains ultrasound records
• Calibrates and maintains necessary equipment and instruments
• May act as supervisor / team lead
