Program Manager, Technical Ecosystem Development

Advanced experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program or project management. 8 years of experience managing programs and processes across distributed systems. Experience in negotiation, including resolving regulatory, land-use, or utility bottlenecks internationally.

Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience navigating complex local political, regulatory, or geographic constraints in the US, EMEA, or APAC to deliver multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs. Knowledge of GDC infrastructure systems (e.g., civil engineering, grid-scale power, or contractor housing logistics like contractor villages).

In this role, you will operate under the ecosystem development pillar of SPO. Serving as a catalyst for market expansion, the ecosystem development team cultivates strategic alliances that amplify Alphabet's technology footprint. This pillar builds and nurtures comprehensive networks of developers, partners, and industry consortia, creating a growing environment where third-party innovations integrate seamlessly with Alphabet's core platforms. Responsibilities: Oversee technical risk strategies and due diligence across a complex regional portfolio of data center developments. Drive program execution that directly impacts fleet capacity Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and orchestrate infrastructure deployment projects. Intervene in highly critical escalations and lead high-stakes negotiations with external authorities, utility providers, and land developers. Identify systemic process breakdowns between acquisition, real estate, and construction. Identify blockers for data center construction and development, and lead cross-functional efforts to durably resolve issues.
