  • Develop custom Splunk applications and add-ons to extend platform functionality.
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting.
  • Provide training and support to users on their use of Splunk and the dashboards you create.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation for all developed dashboards, reports, and data source configurations.

  • Database Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with database integration, including strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Splunk DB Connect and/or interacting with REST APIs.
  • Core Splunk Skills: Strong expertise in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), creating complex queries, and performance optimization.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or in lieu of degree, 8 additional years of equivalent work experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:
    • Splunk certifications such as Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, or Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin are highly desirable.
