Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer 2 – Precision Mining & Robotics. The work will be done onsite full time in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $57/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay). The position follows a Monday–Friday, first-shift schedule, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, and may require up to 25% domestic travel.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop advanced software solutions supporting precision mining and robotics applications. The engineer will design, develop, integrate, and test software features running on embedded electronic control systems, including applications involving hyperspectral analysis and machine data management. This position combines hands-on development in C/C++, Python, Linux, ROS, and OpenCV/ML with system integration, troubleshooting, validation, and cloud technologies. The engineer will work within a global Agile development team alongside machine, systems, software, and validation engineers.
