Your Role :
Do you thrive on finding creative solutions to complex problems and keeping things running like clockwork? If so, we want you to join the Avid team as a Sr. Automation Controls Engineer and help us improve patient lives and support innovative therapies worldwide. As our Sr. Automation Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes and utilities are in tip-top shape and running like a dream. Whether it's maintaining control systems, identifying potential issues, or participating in installations and upgrades, you'll be the one leading the charge.
- Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, vendors, and suppliers to maximize production effectiveness and optimize performance while lowering operating costs.
- Advance products from clinical development to commercial launch.
- Focus on continuous process improvement and documentation according to FDA standards.
- Maintain control systems, perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analyses.
- Track and evaluate critical process data to recommend process improvement.
- Develop and maintain electrical and P&ID drawings.
- Support validation and manufacturing projects.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory and industry standards.
- Participate in inspections / audits and provide written responses as necessary.
- Adhere to FDA regulations, corporate safety policies, and other assigned tasks.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This role is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, or extended hours if needed. This position includes participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of regular business hours.
Compensation : We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. The compensation range for this role is $87,400 to $125,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
