We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Lead Engineer to lead a team responsible for both automated and manual testing of web-based applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in quality assurance methodologies, test automation tools, and debugging, as well as the leadership capabilities to guide a growing QA team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and how QA integrates with business objectives and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor QA team members in manual and automated testing efforts.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test design documentation.
• Implement and manage data-driven testing methodologies.
• Utilize test automation tools such as LambdaTest, LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, and Playwright.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across environments.
• Serve in a technical leadership capacity, advising on QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive QA plans aligned with project and organizational goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, product, and business teams.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support QA and product success.
• Promote and demonstrate values that align with the company's culture and standards.
• Apply performance testing best practices and tools as needed (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $50 - 60 / per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
