Founding Engineer

Product Overview :

Drillbit is the first fully self-managed FSM (Field Service Management). We use AI receptionists and an LLM-based quoting tool on top of our in-house FSM to manage jobs end-to-end. Our agents manage leads, scheduling, quoting, staffing, and even collecting payment. You can think of us as a hands-off AI-based operating system for home services.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly technical, hard-working, and scrappy full-stack engineer to join the team as the founding engineer (staff level). You’ll partner with the founder to build out the engineering team and take the product to the next level.

Responsibilities :

• Lead product development ensuring the system is scalable, reliable, and meets the needs of our customers
• Develop and execute on the technology strategy working closely with the founder
• Stay up-to-date with the latest LLM best practices and apply them to our product
• Manage a fast-growing technical team ensuring quick delivery of high-quality solutions
• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the technology team
