  • Maintain system configuration standards and governance documentation.

Project Leadership

  • Lead warehouse system implementations, upgrades, and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Distribution Operations, Information Technology, software vendors, and business stakeholders during project planning and execution.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate testing activities, manage implementation timelines, and ensure successful adoption of new functionality.
  • Participate in strategic planning for future warehouse technology initiatives.

Business Partnership

  • Consult with warehouse leadership to understand operational challenges and develop long-term system solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding warehouse management system capabilities and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Transportation, and IT to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners regarding system enhancements and issue resolution.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze warehouse performance data using SQL, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
  • Develop reporting solutions that provide actionable business insights for warehouse leadership.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and recommend corrective actions to improve overall performance.
  • Validate data integrity between warehouse management systems and integrated business applications.

Governance & Training

  • Develop standard operating procedures supporting warehouse technology and business processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to supervisors, managers, and designated system users regarding new functionality and best practices.
  • Promote consistent utilization of warehouse systems across all operational areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience supporting or administering Warehouse Management Systems in a high-volume distribution environment.
  • Experience configuring and optimizing WMS applications such as DCX, CORS, InfoShip, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, or similar platforms.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and business reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent recommendations affecting business operations.

Preferred Qualifications
