We are in need of a Personal Care Aide to assist one of our clients who is an elderly male and needs some help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking - to stay independent at home. The job is located in the town of Amherst, SD.
This is a long term position. 11 hours per week. The schedule is flexible but must stick to the schedule once it is agreed upon. Paid at $27/hour. Pay is $23/hour base with a $4/hour bonus to total $27/hour. You get the bonus if you work all the shifts you agreed to work during that pay period.
The job starts soon. Experience as a caregiver is required. We can train on the specifics of the job. We will perform a background check.
Must get a TB (Tuberculosis) skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. It costs $25. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked. Here is a list of County Health Departments: https://www.naccho.org/membership/lhd-directory . You can also do this at CVS Minute Clinics. Schedule appt. online at your local CVS. Cost is $75.
